As a worldly and passionate individual – Penelope has always prioritized internal and external balance.
Penelope (Penny) Booth grew up in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England. She moved to London to pursue a Nursing degree. After backpacking through Europe for almost three years, she settled in Sydney, Australia for 32 years. In Sydney, she studied Naturopathy at the Australasian College of Natural Therapies, completing three advanced Diplomas in Herbalism, Nutritional Medicine, and Naturopathy (including Homoeopathy). After graduating, she set up a successful clinic in Sydney, specializing in Women and Children’s Health.
Penny has a history of public speaking on Women’s Health issues, and has worked with over 250 people each time about vegetarianism, hormones, as well as emotional and physical health issues. Having spent many years in India using her skills in homeopathy and medicine to assist numerous clinics, she considers the country her second home.
Acquiring a breadth of other educational diplomas under her wing, such as studying Holistic Counseling, Kinesiology, and Complimentary Health, she has travelled all over the world in pursuit of helping others. In recent years, she has made Bangkok her new home; doing what she loves most: working at Niraamaya Centre in Bangkok.
Penny is specialized in Women’s and Children’s health, particularly hormonal issues in women, allergies and behavioral issues in Children. Throughout the 25 years of practice she commonly sees and treats women for hormonal imbalances, such as; weight gain, infertility and pregnancy as well as other health issues.
Penny is very passionate about the work she does, helping others to heal themselves. She strongly believes in preventative medicine to empower her clients, by giving time, support and holistic advice, through diet, lifestyle, nutritional and herbal recommendations, to substantially improve the quality of life.
